Discover Mykonos
Aegean Scent is set on the hillside of Ornos in southern Mykonos, with panoramic views across Korfos Bay and the Aegean Sea. From this quiet setting, guests can explore the beaches of Korfos, Ornos and Agios Ioannis, each with its own character, from open waters and natural breeze to sheltered swimming and dining beside the shore. Mykonos Town adds whitewashed lanes, Little Venice, Windmills, boutiques and art galleries, while Delos brings an important archaeological dimension to the island experience. For time outdoors, published activities include sailing, windsurfing, diving, scenic hiking and walks toward secluded coves. Back at the villa, the private pool, shaded terraces and views toward the Aegean offer a calm counterpoint to a day of discovery.Mykonos brings together sheltered beaches, open-water landscapes and a town shaped by Cycladic architecture. Around Ornos, visitors can choose the calm, organized shore, the breezier waters of Korfos or the sunset colors of Agios Ioannis. Beyond the coast, sailing, windsurfing, diving and scenic hiking offer different ways to experience the island. In Mykonos Town, whitewashed lanes, wooden balconies, Little Venice and the Windmills connect everyday walks with local history. The nearby sacred island of Delos adds an archaeological dimension, while rural chapels, small museums and inland villages preserve traces of Cycladic life. Every route can combine time by the sea with culture, nature and the changing Aegean light.
This section is organised as three guides, each written from a different angle. Sun & Sea follows the coastline: the light and wind of the Aegean, the sheltered southern coves and the beaches of Korfos, Ornos and Agios Ioannis, with paths to natural terraces above the water. Experiences gathers the active side of the island, from a private full-day cruise and diving among underwater formations to the scenic route to Armenistis Lighthouse, alongside rural chapels, small museums and inland village events. Landmarks turns to architecture and history: the Windmills, Little Venice and the Old Port, Panagia Paraportiani in Mykonos Town and nearby Delos. Each guide can be read on its own or combined into a single itinerary.
